ASSISTANT ENGINEER (AE)

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Assistant Engineer (Trainee) – E & M
    • Candidates should have complete B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power System Engineering & Electrical & Electronics Engineering and those branches which have word Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
    • Candidates should have completed AMIE- section A & B examination with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Assistant Engineer (Trainee) – Civil
    • Candidates should have complete B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering or those branches which have word Civil from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
    • Candidates should have completed AMIE- section A & B examination with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Age Criteria: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years

Selection Procedure: Final selection will be based on 176 marks of written exam and 24 marks of Interview.

  • Written Test
  • Interview for those candidates who are shortlisted in written examination.

Examination Pattern:

  • Question Paper: Single 03 hours Objective type question paper having two section
    • 50 question from Current affairs, General awareness, Analytical & Quantitative skills
    • 126 question form Technical subjects
      • E&M – common question paper based on Electrical, Electronics & Mechanical Engineering in which 26 question form mechanical Engineering and rest 100 question form Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
      • Civil– 126 question from Civil Engineering.
    • Each question will be 01 marks and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
  • Qualifying Criteria:
    • Gen/OBC-  Secure minimum 45% marks in both sections separately.
    • SC/ST –  Secure minimum 35% marks in both sections separately.
